Windows 10: Touchpad Not Working on HP Pavillion.

So I have a HP Pavillion x360 14 which I bought back in 2020 and for a while now my touchpad had not been working. I use a mouse for everything. When I go into Device manager and under Mice and other pointing devices I can not see my touchpad like I could before. When I go into settings I can also not see touchpad under devices. One of the screenshots below is for what my touchpad looked like in device manager when I could see it. When this problem occurred previously I ran the SFC/scannow program and the problem was fixed for a few months but I no longer am able to successfully do it. As in

HP Pavillion 15t-eg300 touchpad very stiff

Hello

Purchased a new HP Pavillion 15t-eg300. The touchpad is very stiff - i.e., I have to press hard to click. I changed the touchpad sensitivity to "very sensitive" and turned off Enhanced pointer precision in Mouse settings - both suggestions I found on the web - but it's still bad.

Win10/HP Pavillion - PIN "unavailable"

Using Win10 on an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop

PIN went away. Now when I go into create a PIN I get "Something went wrong. Try again later". The step prior is: Start.>Settings>Accounts>Sign in Options>Windows Hello PIN and it reads "This options is currently unavailable - click to learn more". I
followed the steps suggested, but they don't work
