    Touchpad response delay randomly on windows 11 22H2.


    Sometimes I'm facing curser movement delay with touchpad only Its random and annoying, while with mouse there's no problem as such. How to solve it, please help.Device: MSI modern 14 C7M, Ryzen 5 7530u 16GB [Windows11, 22H2].Driver is the default one from Microsoft version- 10.0.22621.1 and I could not find one from the manufacturer. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    For us to better assist you and provide you with the appropriate resolution, we would like to know a few more information. Kindly answer the questions below:

    • Were there any significant changes on your computer prior to this happening?
    • What is the make and model of your laptop?
    • What is the current version/build of your computer? To check, type winver on
      Cortana's search field and press Enter.
    • Do you notice the same delay even when you are not playing games?

    Hi Glenn,

    Touchpad delay on your device might be due to the sensitivity setting that impacts scrolling and other finger gestures, and may exhibit a jumpy cursor. To resolve this issue, we recommend downloading and installing the latest touchpad driver from the
    manufacturer's website.

    If the issue persist after downloading the latest driver, we suggest changing the synaptic device settings by following the steps below:

    • Open Mouse Properties.
    • Select Device Settings tab and click on the Settings box.
    • Expand the Pointing menu and then expand the Sensitivity menu.
    • Select Touch Sensitivity and slide the sensitivity meter from
      2 to 1.
    • Click OK.
