Windows 10: Touchpad Setting missing

Just recently after doing an update I don't remember what, but it had the word Intel on it, I'm having trouble with my touchpad. It didn't work, and when I checked Settings, the touchpad setting is entirely missing. I checked the windows update history and I couldn't find the recent update I did in the history. I don't know if that has any relation to the touchpad, but that's what happened. I tried pressing Fn and F9, but all it kept saying was 'Touchpad is Disabled'. Can anybody please tell me how I should fix this?

  To determine the version and OS build number, type winver on the search bar of Start menu.
• Just to verify, have you tried updating touchpad driver on the device manufacturer?

I would suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps you finding the settings for Synaptics Touchpad.

• Press Windows + X keys, select Control Panel.
• Select Large view in Categories.
• Select Mouse and select Synaptics touchpad
  in the tabs and check if you can find the settings for it.
