    Touchpad suddenly stopped working? Restarted laptop and cursor icon does not even show anymore?


    I have tried a myriad solutions, I have gone into device manager, touchpad drivers do not even show up, I have tried showing hidden devices and this does not produce any results, I have tried scanning for hardware changes and this does not help, I have tried looking for I2C HID and this isn't present on my laptop, I have tried looking in the BIOS and disabling and enabling the mouse, to no avail, I have tried reinstalling the drivers Asus vivobook k505za and this does not work, I have obviously tried the fn + f9 and this constantly shows mouse pad disabled, I have gone into regedit and turne

    My touchpad suddenly stopped working

    My touchpad stopped working, and in the settings only appear the option to choose the cursor speed. The option to enable or disable the touchpad doesn`t show up anymore. Can anyone guide me to solve it?

    Touchpad/cursor not working after windows 10 download.

    I am having the exact same issue. Just got a new laptop (Toshiba), updated it to windows 10 and the curser has stopped working. It seems to work until my desktop loads then suddenly stops. Obviously not a fault with the laptop as worked perfect before the update.
    Please help!!

    Touchpad mouse has stopped working

    The Touchpad mouse on my HP Envy m6 Sleekbook has suddenly stopped working. I am not aware of any specific action I took which led to this happening.

    If I go to device manager, the touchpad driver does not show up. If I check "Show hidden devices", it then does show up (Synaptics SMBus ClickPad), but with a small yellow "alert" triangle over the icon. If I open the device properties, the device status is listed as "This device is not present, is not working properly, or does not have all its drivers installed. (Code 24)".

    Things I have tried:
    -Installing the latest version of the driver from here
    -Uninstalling the device from device manager, and restarting my computer
    -doing a System Restore to a recent date when the TouchPad was working.

    My Windows version is 20H2 (OS Build 19042.867)
