    I don't know what you did with the recent update this month, February 2023, but it screwed up my computer. My computer is only about 3 months old so it isn't because it is old. Now, my touchpad will not stay disabled. Every time my computer lid is closed or I walk away from it for a few minutes and it goes into sleep mode, my touchpad re-enables on its own. The only way I can get it disabled again is to go in, re-enable it, and then disable it again. I have to do that EVERY TIME! My other programs for work are glitching as well. Seriously, we need to know what these updates are and have the c

    Hi,

    If you wish to disable your touchpad, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

    • Press Windows Key +X.
    • Select Device manager.
    • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right click on Synaptic touchpad driver and select Disable.
    • Click OK to confirm and check with the issue.
