Windows 10: Touchscreen disconnected in windows 11

I got a barely used HP touchsmart laptop, and i put an SSD and windows 11 on it and it runs fine. The touchscreen fritzes out and gives random inputs on the right side of the screen. i disabled the device in device manager so I could use the darn thing and I got the driver situation fixed. the problem I have now is that when I went back to device manager, it was gone. I found it by selecting show hidden devices, but devmgmt said it was disconnected. I'm confused, is there any way to reconnect it?

Touchscreen monitor

Hi, I'm looking into buying a touchscreen monitor for use with a Dell Inspiron 660 desktop pc rnning Windows 8 in order to fully utilise the touchscreen facilities of Windows 8.
I'm preliminary looking at the Iiyama T2250MTS or T2452MTS touchscreen monitors. Anyone had experience of these, do they fully work under Windows 8?
Any other suggestions of monitors in the £200-£350 range?

There are several ways to resolve touchscreen issues such us updating the driver, installing available updates or downloading the driver from its manufacturer website. For us to isolate the issue, we would like to ask the following questions:

• What is the build and version of your Windows?

HP Stream 11 x360 Touchscreen Stopped Working After Windows 10 Clean Install

This issue can occur from problematic touchscreen driver and software issues.

As an initial troubleshooting step, we suggest running the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + S.
• Type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• On the Troubleshooting window, click on View all.
• Click Hardware and Devices.
