Windows 10: Touchscreen not responding

My touchscreen of dell venue 8 pro tab is not responding during Windows login. As a result I'm unable to enter my password. I tried rebooting and connecting with the power cord but it nothing worked. I'm also unable to do a PC reset as touch isn't responding on the recovery page. All of these happened after I unintentionally saved some bad reboot configuration and now I'm unable to do anything. Allthough, my device passed all the hardware test, so nothing wrong there. What shall I do?

Follow this steps to resolve touch screen issues on Windows 10:

• Re-start your PC.
• Wipe it off. Use a microfiber cloth if possible.
• Search Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input
  from the task bar and select the top result. Hit the
  Setup button and follow the prompts.
• Search Device manager
  from the task bar and select the top result. Select Monitors and right click on the name of your monitor. If one of the menu items is enable, choose
  that.
• Repeat process number four above, but this time choose Update driver software from the right-click menu.

Surface Pro 7 touchscreen no longer responds

I've been a happy owner of a Microsoft Surface (w/ keyboard), purchased earlier this year. A few months in I began experiencing some touchscreen issues. The screen would become temporarily unresponsive after some moderately heavy usage, but it would always regain its capabilities within a few minutes of going blank. Eventually it stopped responding to touch messages altogether and never regains the touch capacity.

I went through the steps on windows support for troubleshooting a non-responsive touchscreen. None of it brought back the responsiveness. What I did find is that there is a warning icon (exclamation mark in yellow triangle) on "Intel(R) Precise Touch Device" in Device Manager and "HID compliant touchscreen" is completely missing in DM. Devices and Printers in the Control Panel shows the same warning icon on my tablet. In the about this PC page it states, "No pen or touch input is available for this display".

I'm running 'Windows 10 Home 21H1'. The tablet has never been dropped or banged around, and it has not been wet; so, I am at a loss for what has caused the touchscreen to go unfunctional.

Anyone wise enough to guide me towards a working touchscreen would be much appreciated.
