TP-Link T8E showing a wireless N protocol with my AC router

    Hello all,

I am connected to the 5 Ghz band through my AC T8E and have a TP-Link AC wireless router but the status of this adapter in Windows 10 is showing the wireless N protocol versus AC and I am not sure why. Can someone please provide some insight here? On my old build with Win 10 and this same adapter I saw the AC protocol...new build but now only showing N?

    Thank you.

    :)

AC WiFi connecting as N protocol WINDOWS 10 64 BIT

Have you recently made any change/updates prior to this issue?

ANS : Change Router and USB Adapter Wireless N system To Wireless AC system .

Have you check if the Wireless adapter on your computer supports AC protocol?

ANS : YES It all supports AC protocol (RT-AC68U and TP link Archer T4U)

Have you accessed the router's GUI or settings to check if the Wireless mode is already set in AC?

ANS : SURE. Router and USB Adaptor setting All for AC (5Ghz , 80 MHz , 802.11ac mode)

My wireless-N router is TP-Link WR841ND version 3, may I ask sir if it answers the problem that why it can only see or detect my wireless-N's SSID if it is in offline mode, and why not if it is on Phone mode. sometimes when it is on phone mode there are
times that it can see my wireless-N's SSID but will dissappear after a few seconds.
