Windows 10: TPM not working on Drive C

Hello. I did a fresh format of my computer and I couldn’t turn the BitLocker on on Drive C. The weird thing is I can turn BitLocker on my other HDDs.

Whenever I try to turn the BitLocker on C, I get this message “Provider Load Failure.”

I tried disabling, clearing, enabling TPM on BIOS, I’m still getting this error.

TPM update

Don't know if this is the right place for this thread but whatever, laptop informed me that " a firmware update is needed for you security processor (TPM)," now, i looked up what to do and from a microsoft support thing, the last step says to clear the tpm. it has a warning saying to back up my data, i would like to know what clearing the tpm does, and what measures i need to take to make sure nothing goes wrong.

Sounds like it was using the tpm to encrypt the main drive. Certainly not the norm. Also, the fact that you could not log in suggests the computer may be illegally repackaged or stolen.

Where did you buy this?
