Windows 10: TPM problem

Hello sir, my laptop is like 8y old and it doesn't support TPM and i tried to check my bios it didn't have TPM in it is there a way to enable TPM in my laptop or should i stay without TPM ? like i need TPM for a game which i have been playing for years and a new update says TPM is required and i dont have TPM what can i do ?

Don't know if this is the right place for this thread but whatever, laptop informed me that " a firmware update is needed for you security processor (TPM)," now, i looked up what to do and from a microsoft support thing, the last step says to clear the tpm. it has a warning saying to back up my data, i would like to know what clearing the tpm does, and what measures i need to take to make sure nothing goes wrong.

It's clear as mud. As far as I can tell, it's specific to Windows, not necessarily activated programs like MacAfee, games, etc etc etc. MS Office, I have no idea.

Sounds like it was using the tpm to encrypt the main drive. Certainly not the norm. Also, the fact that you could not log in suggests the computer may be illegally repackaged or stolen.
