Windows 10: "TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen"

Discus and support "TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen" in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; I downloaded Restoro for free and I did a scan, it told me that i have a virus by the name of "TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen" the directory shown is the one of...     "TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen"


    I downloaded Restoro for free and I did a scan, it told me that i have a virus by the name of "TR/Crypt.CFI.Gen" the directory shown is the one of Windows Live Messenger, so basically MSN from around 2010 which i have downloaded through escargot.chat a website of a group of developers that revived the WLM and MSN services I then downloaded Avast Free and it didn't detect it. Also, when i look it up on google, the only results i get are about "TR/Crypt.XPACK.Gen" and i don't know if they are the same thing.

    • Were there any updates made on your computer prior to this concern?
    • Are you getting any error messages? If yes, what is the exact error message?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far to resolve this?

    Crypted files

    When trying to open my pictures today, it appears that they have all been "crypted", they now show up as Adobe files. Adobe won't open them because their crypted. They are pictures transferred from the phone and/or my camera on my last computer and transferred
    to the new computer. Transfer was in April '16 and they were ok, but something has happened since. Are they lost? Should I remove them from the computer. Someone suggested going into properties and removing the encryption, but it doesn't show as bein checked
    in properties. Thanks in advance.
