    I have a task to get a certain user activity from last year for a specific time period. I have archived event viewer logs and would like to search and filter only that user activity. I would want a script if its out there that i can use or any other assistance.

    How do I track user account activity on a Domain(Windows Server 2008)

    Hi Guys,

    I'm a trying to track user activity (log on and off details etc) on a windows server 2008 domain controller could someone point me in the right direction?

    I have tried googling on how to do this but I'm confuse as not everything matches up to what they are saying.

    Sorry I should say view not track as the system is already tracking it.

    Each time I try to run a filter by the user account name I end up with 0 results.

    server AD backup 2012 to server AD backup 2019

    Dear all ,

    I had server 2012 installed with active directly but unfortunately the HDD got corrupted but i have AD backup in folder named as NTDS.

    Now i have installed server 2019 on a new HDD .IS there any way i can restore my OLD AD backup folder "NTDS " to my new AD server 2019 because it will save my LOT of time to recreate OU , USERS , POLICIES
