Mouse and Touch Pad Issues on Windows 10 with HP Spectra

If a device is not working properly, it could be caused by outdated drivers. We suggest that you check if there are updates waiting to be installed on your device. If there are, kindly install them and restart your device. After restarting, see if the erratic
behavior of the mouse persists. You may check for updates by following the steps below:

• Press the Windows key + I to open Settings.
• From Settings, select Update & security >
  Windows Update, then select Check for updates.

If there are no updates waiting to be installed on your device, check if your devices are updated through Device Manager. Here's how to get to Device Manager and check if your drivers are updated:

• Press the Windows key + X, then select
  Device Manager.
• Locate the mouse drivers and right-click it, then select Update driver software.
• Select Search automatically for updated driver software.

Also, check if the touch pad and the optical mouse are clean and free from lint, dust, or oils. These may cause the mouse to behave erratically and may cause the performance of the mouse to degrade.

Windows 10 Track pad failure

I would suggest you to install all your Windows Updates as this seems to be a driver issue. If the issue still persists, try updating your track pad drivers from Device Manager and check. Please follow the steps below and check:

• Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on
  Control Panel; select System and Maintenance.
• Click on Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, locate track pad drivers and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
• Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.

Razer Taipan mouse pointer moving erratically after Windows 10 update

I'm using the Razer Taipan mouse. The mouse pointer has been moving erratically since the last Windows 10 update a few days.

Yesterday I called Razer support. They had me uninstall the software and also delete the mouse from the list of hardware in the control panel. Then I restarted my computer and reinstalled the software. That worked for all of yesterday. This morning the mouse
pointer is moving erratically again.

I've followed the procedure from yesterday of uninstalling the software, removing the mouse from the list of hardware in the control panel, restarting the computer and reinstalling the software. This time it has not solved the problem.

Any suggestions?
