Windows 10: TRACKING WITH SERIAL NUMBER

I am Hussain Shihabdeen from Qatar Recently i lost my laptop Dell Latitude E6430 device i have only serial number of the laptop how to track the location with serial number. i mean is there any methods to get notification from the device when connect to internet i haven't install any tracking software. if i have installed my doubt is if the device is fully erased include other disks with c: how to locate that with serial number...? please help me to locate the device.

A while ago, one of my devices on my Microsoft account was stolen. Since Find My Device was never turned on by default, is there a way to track down what happened to it by the serial number?

 

Serial number

The serial number should be on a sticker somewhere on the desktop.

You can also go into the BIOS to find the serial number.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the serial number is hardly trackable, there are no elements as to getting it tracked that way, Find My Device goes a long way in helping you and I recommend you turn it on in all of your devices for the foreseeable
future. I recommend you contact your local police, report the device as stolen using that serial number, as it's a big help to finding it.
