    Trackpad delays every 2 seconds whenever I hold down a key :(


    I've searched all over the web for this and I still couldn't find a solution. I've tried editing the registry editor, I've tried using the Synaptics trackpad settings, but none of these worked. I have an HP Spectre Laptop and since the beginning, I couldn't use my trackpad and keyboard at the same time. Is there a solution that I'm missing?

    Hi,

    I understand the inconvenience caused.

    Thank you for mentioning the different steps you have tried to resolve the issue, we appreciate your effort.

    I suggest you to try the steps below and check if it helps.

    1. Press Windows key + X and select device manager.

    2. Click "view" and select "show hidden devices".

    3. If the trackpad driver is listed, right click on the driver and uninstall it.

    4. Restart the computer and have Windows automatically install the driver upon restart.

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I've had a few issues. The most disruptive is the trackpad. For a second or two after typing, the trackpad is unresponsive. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I feel like it must be a setting that changed with Windows
    10...

    I HAVE updated the drivers for the trackpad. It did not fix the problem.

    Method 1: Run Hardware & Device troubleshooter - It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed correctly

    • Type in Troubleshooting, then hit Enter.
    • Click View all.
    • Select Hardware and Devices.
    • Follow the troubleshooter instructions.

    Method 2: Install any uninstalled updates for Windows.

    • Press Windows Logo, then click Settings.
