Windows 10: Trackpad not working. HID-compliant touchpad enabled and claims to be working properly....

My trackpad is no longer working. In the past, a restart, driver reset, or combination fixed it. Now it doesn't work at all. I have reset all the drivers, rebooted, checked hardware, and it doesn't work. It works in BIOS and when the HID-compliant touchpad driver is off it works without gestures scrolling and going back and is slower than what I've set it to in settings. What can I do to fix this

1: I did not get any error messages, in fact it said it successfully installed the trackpad drivers. However after a reboot, the trackpad still wasn't working.

2: Safe mode, same issue. Trackpad isn't functioning.

3: I just tried it. When i remove the HID Compliant Mouse from Device manager and reboot, it will appear back inside the device manager. And still the trackpad isn't working :/.

I also can confirm this isn't an hardware issue as 3 hours ago before i installed this new windows, It was working fine on my previous OS.

- in what way- did you get an error message?

If you boot to your BIOS does the touchpad work then?
And in Safe Mode?

I would have suggested trying Lenovo System Update but it seems yours isn't supported by that. (Works nicely for mine).

What happens if you choose to remove the HID compliant mouse completely in Device Manager and reboot?

 

touchpad/trackpad not working properly

Since updating to Window 10 my touchpad/trackpad commands such as two finger scrolling, zooming in and out, ect, are not working at all. I can't even find the option to turn them on or off in the settings. These touchpad/trackpad commands or shortcuts
(whatever you want to call them) are something I use regularly. Without them using my computer is rather frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this and get my touchpad/trackpad working properly again.
