  1. Tracks of an album on Media Player listed out of order

One of the albums I have on Media Player is listing the tracks out of order, with a good portion seemingly removed from the list and then added below it. Specifically, the list shows track numbers 5, 6, 10, 17, 31, 33, 34, 44, 45, 52, 54, 57, 59, 62, 65, 71, 72, 74, 85, 93, 97-100, 103, 106, 111, 113, 136, 141, and then the rest of the tracks starting with the ones skipped earlier.I have gone through the file properties, and every track file is in the same folder and share the same contributing artists, album artist, and album title. I have refreshed libraries from the settings so see if that

click on songs at top then select all albums, choose your album and the player plays the tracks of that album in the corrct order, no need to have them numbered!!! Hope this helps!

  3. How to get songs created in a playlist to play in the order listed using Windows Media Player

How to get songs created in a playlist to play in the order listed using Windows Media

The songs included in the playlist are taken from different albums, selected from my hard drive in the order that I wanted to play. The track number listed out of order and the songs play in a different order from the order
listed in the Playlist. The end goal is to burn a CD from the playlist in the desired order.

I hope that someone can help me. I need a disk to use in a zumba class by saturday 8-20-16

Did not have a category for windows media player

    Hello Adrian,

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.

Follow the below mentioned steps and check if they helps you.

    • Open Windows Media Player.
    • Click the Library tab, right-click on any of the column headers and select
      Choose Columns.

    • Uncheck the Album Art check box and Click OK.
    Another way to do this

    • Open "Windows Media Player."

    • Click "Library." Right-click the track or album you want to edit, and then click "Advanced Tag Editor."

    • Select the "Pictures" tab. Click the "Delete" button and then "Apply" to remove the album art.
