Windows 10: Transfer data fromWin 10 pc to Win 11 pc using a new hard disk, the following situation...

Dear allI used Win 11 pc to format a hard disk from 4TB seperate into 2 x 2TB D & E hard disk NTFC, I put the hard disk into a Win 10 pc which is my old PC, I save all data to hard disk, I put the hard disk back to Win 11 pc, Data can be seen on Drive E, all photos access denied due to no right to access. All Videos files are good to see. Drive D no files found. Please advice!

Transfering from existing Windows 10 PC data and apps to a new Windows 10 Home PC

I have an existing Windows 10 PC and purchased a new Windows 10 Home PC. I want to transfer my files and most apps to the new PC with the minimum fuss preserving my existing software and licences.

I have backup software and an old 200gb WD MyBook Essential hard disk which I intend to use to backup most data before hand.

Can you suggest anything easier.

Transfer of data to new pc

There is always PC Mover, which can transfer data and applications to a new PC. PCmover Professional – Laplink(R) Lots of options. When I used it, it transferred all applications except Office 2013 and Norton Security. Saved me literally days. And I was transferring from an old Win 10 Pro desktop to a new Win 10 Home laptop.
