Windows 10: Transfer digital licence to new PC, but without adding Microsoft account to that PC

My old PC has Windows 10 installed and activated with a digital license. The license is currently not connected to my Microsoft account. I use a local, offline account when accessing the PC.I am now building a new PC and I would like to transfer the license there. It also uses local account.Old PC's OS hard drive will be formatted.How do I achieve that?I was thinking about connecting the license to my Microsoft account to facilitate the transfer. But! I do not want to use my Microsoft account to log in onto either old or new PC or perhaps do it only temporarily while performing the transfer

Hello, i recently bought a new PC and i cant transfer my digital licence from old pc for activating windows 10..

i have a digital licence linked to my microsoft account win 10 pro retail version.. can anyone help me ?

and yes i tried the troubleshooter, and he didnt recognize my new PC.. but the new PC is there in devices on my microsoft account

 

Transferring a retail Windows 11 Pro licence to a new PC

I have an old PC running Windows 11 Pro, "activated with a digital licence linked to your Microsoft account". This is a retail licence purchased from the Microsoft Store.



This old PC is now suffering from various hardware problems, so I have bought a new one. This has been running Windows 11 Home under an OEM licence, also "activated with a digital licence linked to your Microsoft account".

My question is, how do I deactivate the Windows 11 Pro licence on the old PC and activate it on the new PC? I know this is an obvious question, and after some searching I found one answer I thought addressed my particular issue.

I followed the steps set out in Redirecting but now I'm stuck. The troubleshooter on the new PC says "we found a Windows Home digital licence for this device running Windows 11 Pro. To activate using this digital licence, you need to install Windows 11 Home". At the final step, "See other devices linked to your Microsoft account" only shows the old PC, with the Windows 11 Pro licence. I am signed on to the same Microsoft account on both PCs and can see them both in "Devices".

I'm not worried about the licensing on the old PC, as it's going to be recycled anyway.

 

Transferring Of Windows Digital Licences

I have an old PC, it's an Acer . I bought it brand new from Micro center years back, I finally have a better PC built and would like to transfer my digital licence. Out of the Box, my old PC had Windows 10 Home 64 Bit Installed, after looking in my setting
it is activated and link to my Microsoft account. Can it be transferred over to my New PC?, and if so can you provide a link to steps to properly do it? Thank you for your time guys.
