Windows 10: Transfer from MAC to PC via SD card

Dear Sir or Madam,I tried to transfer video files from Mac to PC, using SD card. So, I copied the files from Mac to SD, but when I inserted the SD into PC, the PC does not read it at all. I switched the SD, to make sure the slot is working, and PC read the new one easily. I inserted the one from Mac again and nothing happened. PC simply does not recognize it. Could you kindly advise how to extract files from MAC written onto SD to my PC?Thank you!

Transferring data from laptop to micro sd card

Hi,

To help you in transferring the files from your PC to your SD card, follow the steps below:

• Connect the micro SD card reader to your computer.
• Plug the micro SD card into the card reader.
• Open the folder that contains files you want to transfer to the SD card.
• Select the files, press and hold "Ctrl" and then, click the files that you want to transfer. Or press "Ctrl + A" to select all the files in the folder.
• Press "Ctrl + C" to copy the files.
• Choose a drive on your SD card and open the folder where you want to store the files.
• Press "Ctrl + V" to paste the files.
• Wait until all files are transferred then, remove the micro SD card from the card reader.

SD card upgrade (on Lumia 630 Dual with latest WP8.1)

I have the same question and can't find a reasonable answer. I want to upgrade the SD card in my 640. I tried using my PC to copy everything from the original SD card to the new one. But applications and their application specific data does not copy. I
was trying to find a PC app that would backup and restore the full SD card. But there doesn't seem to be one.

I eventually found a post from somebody who suggested this approach, which worked but is convoluted.

I have assumed knowledge of how to manage data and apps using the windows phone "storage sense" app.

• Copy everything from the original SD card to the new SD card.
  • note: the applications stored on the SD card and application specific data will not be copied
• Put the original SD card in your phone
• move as many apps from the SD card as you have space on the phone
  • note: you will probably have to do this process more than once.
• Put your new SD card in your phone
• move apps from the phone to your SD card
• repeat steps 2-5 until all apps are transferred from original to new SD card.

It all worked fine and was much quicker than I thought - it took much longer to research the best solution. I really didn't want to attempt a phone reset and restore.

 

NOKIA 5800 and Mac Connection via USB - and SD Card in reader Failure

Has anyone with a new Mac - Panther or other OSX versions experienced the following



Nokia 5800 is not recognized via USB connection - (selecting any mode of Transfer)



Even the NOKA 8GB Sd Card is not reading in the SD card readr of the mac



In fact is corrupted my card and deleted all the info



Additionally Bluetooth connection via Nokia 5800 and MAC, the Mac began archiving the SD card contents?



Anyone have any ideas? Isync / Nokia Multimedia Transfer will not recognize the phone.
