Windows 10: Transfer Minecraft Java edition from windows 10 to linux machine

Hello!I have recently moved from a Windows 10 machine to a Linux machine.I had a Minecraft-Java edition license on my old laptop which i wanted to transfer, but logging in with my Microsoft account i can only re-purchase it.I know there is conflict between Bedrock and Java edition, but why it is the same with two Java editions?

Play Minecraft on Linux machine

I've bought Minecraft Windows 10 edition but I'd like to play it also on my linux pc.

If I took it right I should move to the Java edition.

Is it possible to do this without paying a second time?

Hello, recently I received a gift code for minecraft windows 10 edition. I activated it, works good, but it gave me acces to the minecraft launcher and I saw the message that it should give you minecraft java edition too. "Because you own Minecraft for Windows, you'll get Minecraft: Java Edition as a bonus!" The problem is I didn't receive java edition and it only says Play Demo

 

Minecraft Java and Windows 10 edition

For a long time i've wanted to play minecraft with my friends,but they own Minecraft Java edition,and i own Minecraft Windows 10 edition. And we can't connect to eachother. Will there be a way to make Java and Windows 10 have the same playable servers?
