Windows 10: Transfer specific Windows 10 License

HiI have 3 Windows 10 licenses linked to my Microsoft account:01: Windows 10 Professional RETAIL - Deactivated, as I am in the process of building a new PC from scratch02: Microsoft 10 Home RETAIL - PC threw away as motherboard was fried03: Microsoft 10 Home OEM - This belongs to my sonAs, I have a spare Windows 10 Home license which is a RETAIL version see 02. aboveI would like to transfer the "02." license to my son's PC, so he would have a RETAIL version of Windows 10 instead of his current OEM versionI know the process is:A Re-install Windows 10 on my son's PC and activate usi

i bought the license. My laptop was originally loaded with win 7 and was upgraded free couple of months.

in this case, if i understand you correctly, i can transfer with below steps. Right.?

does OS upgrades if my activation key is changed.

Windows 10 upgrade license

The interesting question is that: the upgrade takes place before 29 of July. If I upgrade the PC (change the MB), and I transfer the Win 8.1 license to this new PC (cause 8.1 is retail FPP), will I be able to upgrade to Windows 10 for free? Or a upgrade license must be bought?
