    Transfer Win7Pro Diskdrive to a new machine.


    Do to a SSD drive failure on my desktop, I must use a HDD salvaged from another desktop.The SSD was running a valid legal version of Win10pro, while the salvaged HDD had run a valid legal version of Win7pro.Much to my surprise, the Win7 disk had minimal problems in adapting to is new environment and the only problem I face is the"Not genuine copy of Windows" error.I do not have the original Valid Product Key as the old computer was thrown out.How do I solve this WITHOUT spending any additional money or upgrading to Win10?

    Install win7pro over a win10 upgrade

    I bought a Dell XPS computer w/win8.1 and used the free upgrade to win10. I have a win7pro install disk with the product key and desire to revert back to win7pro as win10 is not meeting my needs. If I wipe the drive can I then install the win7pro product?
    The computer I originally installed the win7pro OS in I have since installed a Linux OS hence the win7pro product is not being used presently. Can I then remove win10 from the Dell machine by wiping the drive using DBAN and install the win7pro product in it?
    Please advise and thanks in advance...

    Transfer files (Pictures, Documents) from a Windows 7 PC to a Windows 10 PC

    I recently purchased a new laptop with windows 10. My old laptop has windows 7. Can anyone list the step-by-step instructions for transferring the data to the new machine? I understand that windows easy transfer is no longer an option for windows 10.

    Win10Pro transfer to new PC

    I bought a PC with Win7Pro already installed (the sticker refers to OEM). This was updated to Win10Pro. The motherboard on this PC has now died and I need to purchase another. Most come with Win10Home and I would wish to transfer the licence from the dead
    PC to the new one. Unfortunately, I do not have a Win10Pro licence key to hand (or access to it as the PC is dead). I do have the original disc and the key for the Win7Pro. I cannot find a straightforward answer as to whether I can upgrade a Win10Home installation
    to Win10Pro using the Win7Pro key. Please advise.
