Windows 10: Transfer Windows 11 Pro product key to new laptop

Hello,My old laptop came with windows 11 home. I purchased windows 11 pro on the store, and got the digital copy. I didn't get a product key. This laptop has issues so Dell is giving me a replacement. I would like to now transfer the windows 11 pro to it. I've unlinked this laptop from my windows account, fiddled with the cmd on this one to remove the licence. I went to the new laptop, linked it to my microsoft account, and have tried to upgrade it to pro using the product key from the old one but nothing has happened.Could anyone please give me some help?

Regarding Transfer of Upgrade Product Key

Backstory:

1. I purchased a laptop that came with an OEM version of Windows 10 Home
2. I purchased a retail Windows 10 Pro product key and upgraded the laptop.

Question:

1. I have purchased a new laptop with an OEM version of Windows 10 home installed
   
2. I would like to transfer the Windows 10 Pro retail product key to the new laptop so I can upgrade the new laptop.
   
3. Also, I would like to restore the OEM version of Windows 10 back onto the old laptop.
4. Is there a way to do this.

 

Transfer Windows 10 Pro product key from old laptop to new laptop

Hi,

I currently have an old laptop that is running Windows 10 Pro and is activated, I would like to no longer use this laptop and transfer this product key (digital license) to my new refurbished laptop that is also running Windows 10 Pro. I have tried to find
my product key (digital license) but cannot find anywhere. Please advise how I can obtain so I can activate my new (refurbished) laptop.

Windows 11 Home to Pro upgrade

Want to upgrade 11 Home to 11 Pro. Tried download, but apparently files transferred were for 11 Enterprise. This will not activate; error is "invalid digital license or product key". This is on a new Surface. How to proceed?

Can withdraw/delete this. The suggestion to downgrade - listed below - with a 'fake' windows 10 key works.
