Windows 10: Transfer Windows 11 Pro Upgrade Digital Code purchased from Best Buy to New Laptop

I'm seeking step by step instructions to transfer the Windows 11 Pro Upgrade digital key purchased from Best Buy, from my failing laptop, to a newly purchased laptop. How do I deactivate the code on my old laptop and transfer it successfully to the new one step by step please? The Old Laptop shows Windows 11 Pro Activated, and the new laptop shows Windows 11 Home Activated. Thank you.

I would like to be transparent with you, I'm afraid that the 99USD upgrade to Pro will not be able to be transferred to other device as it's associated with your old laptop since it's an upgrade of your OEM license which is preinstalled on your device.

Regarding this, you will be needing to purchase a new upgrade to Pro or just in case you're still planning to get a new device in the future, you may just buy the full version of Windows 11 Pro which can be transferred on a new computer.

Transfer digital license to new laptop

Hi,

I purchased a laptop with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. I have a digital license for Windows 10 pro on an old PC. I would like to transfer the Pro license to the new laptop - either Windows 10 pro or Windows 11 pro. How do I transfer the digital License?
