Windows 10: transference of data when error interruption appeared

I was transferring data to usb when it said interruption. Now if i put usb in it ask me to insert usb when i try to open it under devices in control panel it is it shows drive e in a way that suggest the is nothing there. I figure is the simmax usb or thumb drive has a problem but how can I get the computer to open the drive so that i can fix the problem that happened or can I?

• Did you transfer the data directly to SD card or phone storage?

ok so the memory on my new PC has been replaced, now i have to send the harddrive back...*Bang Head :banghead:..... whats the best software to use to transfer my data over to my external??....i know i can manual doing it but anyway i can just mirror everything and not have to reinstall everything?? is that even possible.......I can take the external and make it into internal, so i can boot off it, just really worried the stuff on external drive is priceless....LMK guys

PS, after i fix the hard drive i get to deal with my PC making a weird noise from a fan i beleive.....wow so glad i build a new one haha, must of got cheap parts or soemthing

EDIT---- if they get the hard drive and dont see an error will they replace it? here is the error im getting in windows but when i scan it , with the items suggested in the thread , it comes up clean, but i still get the windows error....weird

UnattendedJoin error: failed to find the domain data (0x6e)

Thanks for the suggestion! I don't want to add a domain account, as this is a generic unattended install that will be used for all company machines. Do you think it's possible that the computer would join the domain if, instead of using UnattendedJoin in specialize, I used your steps but left out the specific account? The other thing I was thinking was to use a generic account to allow the domain join during the specialize step. I added a machine password in the UnattendedJoin component, and instead of getting the error listed above, I got an authentication error, which makes me think I could probably do a secure join instead of the unsecure join. Thoughts?
