Windows 10: transferring an album to desktop

I have a new hp laptop with windows 10. I can download pictures into a album in Photos, but how can I then put that album in a folder on the desktop?

Also, when I email a photo to my computer from my phone, I used to be able to drag it to a folder on the desk top - I can't do that now. How can I drag/add the random photo or two to my desktop folders from my email.

Opened the link, but as always, for me anyway, the step x steps they give, are not always what I can find.

If I open an album, there is no option saying more, but there are 4 vertical dots and if I hover on it, that says "more options" which I know sounds the same but not exact.

When I open it, there is no option to download album, and I will attach what I mean.

Another area I am puzzled, it says Google + photos, my icon on desktop says Google Photos, don't know if its important.

I also still have Picasa in my programs.

 

Groove Shows Unknown Artist & Unknown Album


I solved it by doing the following! I'm not sure which step cracked the problem.

1. Set indexing to index the content of my music files by right clicking on the top level folder, setting the option and applying to all files and sub-folders
2. Rebuilt the index via the Control Panel Indexing options
3. Deleted the folders watched in Groove
4. Deleted the Groove database at C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.ZuneMusic_<random>\LocalState\Database
5. Started Groove
6. Reassigned the folders to watch

All songs now appear with the right artist & album but some album art was missing in Groove and Media Player despite being displayed correctly in iTunes. I manually updated the missing album art in Media Player and Groove then synchronised to match the Media Player album art.

1) Where have you saved the photo album in PC? Have you saved in local drive?

2) Did you check in Recycle bin?

As a workaround, Try to create a new folder and create a photo album and then save it on desktop or pictures folder in this PC.

If the issue persists, then try to create a new local account and check the issue in that account.

I suggest you to create a new user account and check if it fixes the issue. Refer to the steps below to create a new User Account:

• Go to Settings.
• Choose Accounts and then select Other User Accounts towards the left.
• Select Add an Account.
• Enter a user name and hit Next.
• Click on Finish.
• Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
• Check if issue persists.
