    Data lost while transfering

    I have lost my contact data while i was transfering to another device through sync, i am using 6120classic and E72. unfortunately it is lost from botht the devices. Kindly tell me how i can retrive my lost contact data.

    Well, I'm sorry to hear that it's a WD My Passport that failed on you, @tomhenry ! *Frown Transferring data across lost devices :(
    I'd recommend you to try using a different USB cable with it and see if that will help your system to detect it without it disconnecting.
    I'd also suggest you to go to Disk Management and see how the drive is listed there. It won't hurt to check up on the health and SMART status of the HDD by running the QUICK and EXTENDED tests from the WD's Data LifeGuard Diagnostics.     Give these troubleshooting steps a try and keep us posted with the results!

    Transferring data across lost devices

    Transfer my data loses connection

    I am trying to transfer data from old phone "Samsung S3600" to my Lumia 920 with the "Transfer my Data" app. (version 6.0.5.0)

    The app connects to the old phone and shows that there a 300 messages to transfer.

    When I start the transfer the connection is lost and a message "No connection" shows.



    Any suggestions?
