    Transferring data from PC to MacBook with migration assistant


    When using the migration assistant to transfer my photos from my pc to my Mac book, every time I try to run it the app says edge is running but it doesn’t show that it is running in the task manager.

    I want to transfer my files from my PC to my new MacBook Pro. I've downloaded the migration assistant but when I attempt to run it, it says Windows Mail is open, but it's not and I don't use Windows Mail. Then a window pops up that says to make a choice
    between repair or remove the migration assistant. I've tried both but seems to work. So my next thing is to try to remove or close Windows mail. How do I do this or how do I get migration assistant to work?

    That is Apple software for moving data, emails, settings etc from a PC to a Mac; not for transferring an operating system.

    I suggest that you contact Apple support or ask in their Community.
