Windows 10: Transferring digital license to different account special case.

First of all i use TWO desktop PC's Primary and Secondary, both has "retail" windows licenses. i build all 3 of them myself . i have 2 win7 -> win 10 -> win 11 active keys.My secondary PC which has MB: Z97 which is not supported to Win 11Primary PC which is already on win 11.And now brand new PC without Operating system to which i would love to transfer my PRIMARY win account.So i would need to first move from my current secondary Z97 Windows 10 key to my current primary pc. After which i would need to install win 11to brand new pc using Media creation tool and current Windows f

a windows site suggests de-activating a device to transfer the -license' / key - to a new device. Is this true and possible in the case of --transfer digital license-- ???

 

Transferring digital license to different account

So, the digital license I was using before I replaced my motherboard is on an account that decided that the password I'm using is right is wrong. Confusing, but I want to transfer the digital license to my other account, so the activation will be easier.
How does that work? And if I can't do that, how do I reset my Microsoft account password so it DOES work?

 

How to transfer Windows 10 license to different PC and MS account

Hi Everyone, I need to upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 and I think I may be able to do it via an unused Win 10 gaming PC that is around the house. It belonged to another member of the family. I have reset the unused PC and done little else with it. I have gathered the following details:

• Windows 10 Home product key
• MS account user-id and password
• confirmation that the license is a digital license
• It is: Installed from 'Full Packaged Product' media

Most of the advice I see in online searches is for people swapping their own Win 10 license to a different PC. I have seen some advice online that may be relevant e.g. my kind of transfer is not just a matter of installing and entering the Win 10 product key. Does anyone have advice or know of links to steps for this kind of a transfer?
