  1. Transferring files directly from camera results in random uncompressed JPEGs?

Windows 10 Pro 1909. Our company's warehouse takes photos of all incoming items. They copy these photos via the camera's USB port directly to a fileserver. The fileserver is mapped to a drive letter and the transfer is done using only Windows Explorer they're not using any photo importing software, they're just exploring the camera as if it were a mass storage device. Randomly, some of the JPEGs copied to the server will be between 1GB to 3GB for a single file as if the compression was being stripped off. Note that when browsing the camera, all file sizes are normal, and if we use an SD card reader to do the transfer, the sizes of the copied files are all normal. It seems the issue only occurs when transferring directly from the camera. It affects all cameras as they use a mix of Canon, Fujifilm and Sony cameras. Removing the SD card is somewhat disruptive to the warehouse workers' workflow so any help getting USB transfer to work as it should would be highly appreciated!

  3. Unable to transfer CR2 file from Camera

I have taken some RAW images on a Canon EOS 60 D and also large JPEG images. I can transfer the JPEG files but not the CR2 files onto my desktop. A message appears indicating there was an error. This appears for all CR2 files. The CR2 files appear
correctly on the camera. I can transfer the CR2 files from the camera to my laptop without any problems. I can transfer them from my laptop onto my Onedrive without a problem and I can copy them from Onedrive onto my desktop without a problem. So there is
a workaround but it is time consuming when each CR2 file is 20+ Mb. I also have an EOS 40d tethered to my desktop and I can take a CR2 image remotely with that and save it directly to my desktop. TIA.

Transferring files directly from camera results in random uncompressed JPEGs?

Uploading Image Files dialog box not including JPEG files

    Hello,

If you have a jpeg 2000 file format it will not work with Internet Explorer due to incompatibility or security reasons.

We suggests that you try the steps below:

Method 1: Reset zones to default

    • On Internet explorer > Go to Tools.
    • Click Security > Click on Reset all zones to default level

    Method 2:

    • Go to the website you want to upload the files.
    • Click on Tools drop down.
    • Choose Compatibility View Settings > Then add the website.
    • Refresh the page and try to upload the files again.

Let us know how it goes.
