Windows 10: Transferring files from PC to thumb drive to Laptop

Can someone help me with transferring files and folders from my PC to a thumb drive so I can transfer my files onto my laptop? Right click the file you want to transfer and click 'Send to' - flash drive (that drive should be bottom of he 'Send to' list . . .

First plug the thumb drive into the Windows 7 PC. Open file explorer and navigate to the Thumb drive. Copy any files that you wish to transfer to the Windows 10 PC onto the thumb drive.

Now eject the tumb drive from the Windows 7 PC. Plug the thumb drive into the Windows 10 PC. Open file explorer and navigate to the Thumb drive. Copy or move the files from the thumb drive to a location on the Windows 10 PC
