Windows 10: Transferring Galaxy s7 Contacts to Windows 10

I've followed the recommended steps and export my S7 Contacts to the S7 SD card. When I connect to my Windows 10 machine via a USP port it immediately starts trying to transfer photos & videos which isn't my intention. If I click Cancel it immediately restarts! If I shrink the window I can get a glimpse of File explores and see that the Galaxy 7 does indeed show up, so if I could only kill the unwanted photo/video process I think I get at my Contacts. How do I get out of the photos/video process?

Please tell me the simplest and quickest way to transfer pictures from the camera on my Galaxy S7 to my pc. Thank you.

I am wandering around simply trying to transfer photos from my galaxy S7 camera to my Windows 10 desktop. Is there a simple, direct, 1-2-3 step process? I seem to complicate things because I don't how to accomplish a transfer. Any suggestions, or help
would be gratefully accepted and appreciated.

 

Computer doesn't show files from my Galaxy S7

I am trying to transfer music from my computer to my Galaxy S7 but when I plug the phone in through the USB and then click on the device in my PC list, it shows no files. No pictures, no music, nothing.

It doesn't prompt me to install a driver or anything.

Can anyone give me ideas?

Google Calendar and Samsung Galaxy S7

When I enter dates on my desktop Google calendar, the information is transferred to my Samsung Galaxy S&. However, the desktop calendar is not accepting entries made on my Samsung Galaxy S7. Since the communication seems to be a one-way issue, is a
setting on my desktop blocking the entries?
