    Transferring old emails to new computer


    I have an old computer running W7. On that computer I used Windows Live Mail 2011 which would download to my computer. It did not keep a copy on the server. It does not have Outlook on it. I have tried installing Outlook on it but it keeps on ending the program and will not run. It will run Outlook in Safe Mode only. I now have a new computer running W11. On this computer I am using Outlook. How do I transfer all of my emails from the old computer to my new one?

    Here is the step to remove that old email address.

    Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

    Just do this step and your good to go.

    • What is the email account you are have configured in the old computer?

    • Do you use the Windows Live Mail program in your old computer also to access the emails?
    Please be informed that you need to import the emails and contacts to your Windows Live Mail. So that, you will be able to transfer the emails and contacts to the Windows Live Mail. For this you need to export the emails
    and contacts from your old computer. I suggest you to refer to the below link on how to import and export email, contacts with Windows Live Mail.
