Windows 10: Translator issues in word not working

We are using word 2016 and when we use the translator option we are getting an error message the "The service could not be searched because your computer is not connected to the internet", I already did everything they told me at The translation in Word does not work for me - Microsoft Community, this also seems to be affecting other office applications: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/2282087/outlook-translator-have-no-connection-to-serviceAre we able to confirm why the service has now stopped working please?

Bing translator with windows 10

Let me keep you informed, to translate any text through Bing translator in Internet Explorer, you just have to follow two simple steps as follows:

• 
  Select the text you want to translate.
  
• 
  Right click on the selected text and select the option translate with Bing.
  

As of now the option to set Bing Translator to the Edge is not available.

I suggest you to use the feedback app in the insider and send your thoughts directly to the team building Windows.

Cortana does not translate

Hello,

If you're trying to translate a word or a sentence, Cortana can help you do that, follow these steps:

1. Open Cortana and type Translate.

2. Choose ‘Translate’ under ‘Can i help you?’

3. A translation tool will pop-up, and you can choose the language you want Cortana to translate to.

Just write the word or the sentence you want to be translated, then press
Enter.

Access the real-time translation feature by saying "Hey Cortana, how do you say" followed by the word or sentence you want to translate, and the language they want to hear it in. For example: "Hey Cortana, how do you say 'Hello' in Spanish?"

Do note that this works only for single words, and simple phrases, for more complex sentences, you’d need to follow the steps given above.

Microsoft Translator

Hi,

One way of stopping Microsoft Translator is by uninstalling it. In order for you to uninstall the app, we recommend that you follow the steps provided below:

• Press Windows key and type "translator".
• Right-click Translator and select Uninstall.
• Follow the instructions on the screen.
