Windows 10: Transparent/Screen

I get this when I click on the login button. It's kinda of cool but maybe a bug.

Windows 10 64 bit how do I make the taskbar transparent?

There's no way to make it COMPELTELY transparent and invisible without using a theme program like WindowBlinds (good program, but not free). But you can try this to make it more transparent on some screens:

Hi sabujartist,

Would you please expand on the problem you are experiencing. Where is this transparent image? Home Screen? A specific app? Is it supposed to be transparent? What is it doing or not doing?

Also, which version of the OS are you using? In Windows 10 Mobile, the Home Screen is supposed to be transparent.

See if you have this setting in Taskbar Properties:

 

It will not let me un-check it. The first 2 are greyed out.

 

If you don't want the Start Page invoked at Logon, you could make sure these two registry settings are both set to 0 and leave the Properties setting the way it is.

The transparency issue is a known bug in this build - it should show only the wallpaper.

Hi there

The transparency was meant to be fixed with the latest set of updates - but it doesn't appear to be so on my system -- at least when I expand the menu (I have the default non expanded menu set).

Kind of the opposite of W8 - "Show my desktop background on the Start Screen",
now it's - "Show my desktop background through the Start Menu" (along with everything else!) *Wink
