Windows 10: trayapp.msi error

how to remove trayapp.msi error after log in?

Error Message after updating windows

After upgrading my windows, am keep getting an error message "an installation package "TrayApp" cannot found. Try the installation again using valid installation package "TrayApp.msi".

hope somebody can help me with this.

 

Windows TrayApp.msi

TrayApp is installed with HP Photosmart Digital Imaging. Since it's an HP product, you could try asking HP for help or looking for help in HP's Customer Support Forum. It's old software and may not be supported on Windows 10.

You could simply re-install HP Photosmart Digital Imaging, or remove it if you're not using it. You might be able to remove only TrayApp.

Assuming this trayapp.msi file is associated with the pre-installed HP software you would need to reinstall HP Photosmart Digital Imaging software.

What is the directory exactly?

You can delete everything in that folder, but I wouldn't delete the folder.

In that folder temporary files are saved by your programs, the files will be deleted automatically when a program doesn't need the files anymore but you can always delete the files yourself IF the files aren't in use anymore.
