Windows 10: Tried and Failed with Spotlight, help me?

I know a Microsoft Moderator answered this question, but I have to expand on the question. I tried the first step. I didn't know what I was going to do to get to the second step, but I didn't pass the first step because All I got was a lot of red, to me, mumbo-jumbo about it not working. After all, Microsoft was open and something else. I saw it said the file did not exist. I read that since I have Microsoft 365, it has been disabled and can't be restored. I can do stuff that takes away from my desktop theme, or I saw it state similar third-party apps. My late husband was a computer expert, bu

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
