    I TRIED CHANGING ADMINISTRATOR , i tried finding process in resource monitor , i tried stopping windows explorer , i did restart many times but i cant find where the file is in use plz help

    Delete and Cut Files with Preview Pane Open

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

    I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

    • Have you tried to delete the pdf file in preview panel?
    • What exactly happens when try to delete the pdf file?

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.


    • Open File Explorer.

    • Select View and click on preview panel.

    • Select the pdf file.

    • At the right corner you will be able to see preview panel.

    • You can right click on it and delete the files.

    I have cut and paste some files and the files were i put them in the external hdd are gone!!!
    The external hdd is all free!!! Help me pls! *Respect :respect:

    Deleted files keep reappearing,Pls Help

    I deleted some files from my computer but when I reopened the folder the files where still there even though they vanished after deleting them I have tried this several times with permanent delete to but no success. I also tried individually deleting the
    files but it asks administrator permission though I'm the admin it is not letting me delete the windows delete screen pops up and the graphs shows that the file is getting deleted but then it asks admin permission. I also have an active McAffe antivirus but
    it doesn't any malware or virus. I tried shredding the files with help of the antivirus software but still nothing happened the A.V. instead said it was unable to shred the files. It is something very serious ,Pls Help I'm really confused as well as scared
    as my main working files are on the computer.

    P.S. I have uninstalled the applications and then trying to delete the files, also I have tried restarting after deleting the files but nothing happened.
