[EDIT: FIXED. Will leave this up for anyone having similar issues. Slowly installed new drivers with it restarting tons in between installations, used Driver Booster. Turns out I had 30 outdated drivers! Amazing. Still lost all my files though.]

My computer randomly got into a restart loop today. I'm usually good at solving issues just by Googling it and following the instructions to the best of my abilities. I'm not a tech wizard by any means, I just know how to read and am patient enough to go through a few steps. Today, that didn't work.

First I followed the instructions from the website below. I couldn't do a safe restart (step 1) because my keyboard is bluetooth, and it wouldn't give me an alternative to type in the number. But I tried restarting through the advanced options and running diagnostics. Kept restarting. Disabled auto-restart (step 2). It kept restarting. It wouldn't stay awake long enough for me to install DriverEasy (step 3) and test the drivers (it only stays on for a minute or less). Tried changing the power option (step 4). Kept restarting. I went back to a previous version that was backed up (my own attempt from the options given), and it didn't help either.

Moved onto this website. Tried the registry thing from step 2. That's when I think I broke things. Maybe it's not worded well, but the word "delete" is next to the folders, so I just deleted the entire folders when they had the file that was mentioned.

I kept getting a black screen at first after logging in. After awhile, it loaded without my wallpaper or programs on the taskbar. Kept restarting. All files deleted, I guess.

I have a Mobile Studio Pro, so I have no attached keyboard. It's hard to do much when the bluetooth connection is on and off. Is there anything I can really do at this point?

hey my teacher/coach's school computer (dell optiplex gx150) is stuck in a restart loop. When it boots up it will make it to the windows os load screen and then restart. i already tried all the settings in the F5 menu and none of them worked it just restarts again.

p.s. I also see a blue screen flash on and off the screen b4 it shuts itself down and starts again.

i need some major help on how to diagnose and fix the problem.
