Windows 10: Tried to install NVidia drivers, ended up with my network drivers failing

So i tried installing the latest Nvidia drivers on my 1660 ti and it ended up failing, multiple times. After the 5th attempt i decided to look for help, so i find a guide saying that i should install it from the Nvidia website, so i do only to be left with the same errors everything but physx wasnt isntalled and just failed. After that i decided that it was a driver issue or a hardware issue so i look up a guide and multiple guides tell me to use DDU. So i booted into safe mode followed the DDU steps and reset my pc. Then i attempted to install the driver again only to be met with the exact same issue. At this point i dont know what is up so i try to run DDU again, big mistake. Somehow ddu found a way to corrupt or dissable my network adapters and my audio drivers i downloaded DDU from the correct source and everything. After that i decide im just gonna revert to a system backup, and low and behold that fails. So Later i try again and the backup is just gone.

I honestly dont know what happened or how it got to this point but im refraining from reseting my pc or taking it to a specialist just in case theres an easy fix that doesnt cost all my games or 50 bucks. I would apreciate any feedback,

When you downloaded the GeForce drivers from Nvidia did you select the custom or quick install?

If you select quick, some options, and drivers may not get installed, the same goes for a clean install.

The only time I use clean install is if I am having an issue with it completing or an issue with the currently installed drivers; but the last few Nvidia updates have not had any issues.

Another note, Gforce experience needs to be updated first before the rest of the driver package can be installed, it can also be downloaded and installed separately for Nvidia

New nvidia drivers failed?

Try doing a clean install of the drivers.
