Windows 10: Tried to install windows 10 for my new laptop. Turned off my laptop. It wont boot up from then!

I tried installing windows through usb for my new laptop which came with freedos. In between the process i had to turn off my laptop. From then it doesn't turn on!. Need some help here. How can i turn on my laptop??!!

It will not boot with no memory installed

after you removed 1st memory stick then second did you try the second memory stick in the slot the 1st came out of

the beeps you heard probably indicate no memory installed

if neither memory stick allows the laptop to boot you need to try KNOWN GOOD MEMORY

 

My hp laptop wont turn on

This is a frequent problem am sure as you have already seen from online searches.

Flea power is usually the culprit here, basically its residual power that remains on the computer even after thecomputer has been shutdown. You can drain the flea power with the steps the other answers have suggested.

• Disconnecting the battery and adapter
• Press the hardpress the power button for 30 seconds
• This should clear the flea power

Worth upgrading to Windows 10 with my laptop?

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, by then all laptops have Windows 10 or other new OS when I buy a new laptop.
Everything runs fine now and I prefer not to re-install all my games and software.
