Windows 10: Trimming in windows 10 photo app now reduces frames from 60 to 30

In the past when i tried to trim gameplay clips i had recorded using the photo app They kept their original smoothness and ran at 60fps. Now when i watch the recordings they are in 60fps but when i trim and save them with the photos app, the trimmed version is saved at what looks between 15-30fps and it looks horribly choppy and stuttery. Please help me.

Using Photos' Trim changes the FPS of the original

I used 'open with -- Photos' to trim a video recorded at 60/59.92 FPS.

The trimmed product is reduced to 30 FPS.

Is there any way to retain the original FPS but use Photos to trim it?

Precisely trim in photos app

Hello.

Unfortunately, I do not believe this is possible with photos. Something like frame-by-frame trimming is more so a paid app thing like sony vegas. The photos app only does second to second.

I am trying to edit a video in the photos app. I would like to know if there is a way to precisely trim it down to a specific frame. It always just reverts to the nearest start of a second in the video. If not does anyone know where I can go to do this?
