Dear sirs, I am running 3x Hisense 55E7KQTUK PRO, with a Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 ti used in a Gugabyte B450 Gaming x motherboard and a Ryzen 5 processor on Windows 10. 2x Hisense TVs are directly connected to the HDMI through a 3 meters CSL 8k / 4k HDMI Cable, while the third TV is connected to on of the Display ports on the 3080 ti, through the StarTech.com 4K 60Hz HDR10 Active DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0b Video Converter DP2HD4k60H and the same HDMI cable both converter are on Amazon. Display resolution mismatch of computer and tv

I have a display resolution mismatch of a computer and a tv. The computer is old and only 1080p. The tv is way newer and 4k. Is there a way to use an hdmi cable to hook the computer up to the tv, then lower the tv's resolution so they play nice with each other? I tried this but the tv cut off a few inches on all sides of the display when I tried this.

Display resolution mismatch of computer and tv

I also have a resolution mismatch. Monitor = 2560 x 1600 LG TV (old) = 1920 x 1080 I watch movies (stored on my hard drive), on the TV. This doesn't present any problems for me. What exactly, are the problems your resolution mismatch is causing, when your monitor and your TV are set to their native resolutions?

Cannot switch to 4K on TV with my laptop

    Hi Dhruv

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Please check the specifications for your TV, the Xiaomi website indicates the Mi TV 4A TV's have a 1080p display 8-bit panel and does not support 4K output

They indicate it is the Mi TV 4X Pro that has a 4K resolution 10-bit panel
