Hey everyone of the community here,

I've recently purchased a gaming pc and downloaded all of my files needed to play.

Just yesterday, I was playing a game and the game constantly crashed and lagged, though I have a pretty high end PC. I tried fixing it but nothing helped but got worse. I decided to play a different game instead and when I was doing nothing my pc came up with a bsod error message.

The message read "CRITICAL-PROCESS-DIED". I tried looking online to fix it but all of the advanced options in Recovery apart from command prompt did worked. I tried some commands in command prompt but nothing helped. I then decided to reinstall Windows but afterwards more error bsod messages popped up every time I tried to boot my pc. The errors read; 0xc0000001, 0xc0000098, and

    "File: \Windows\system32\winload.efi

Error code: 0xc000000e".Trojan Broke New Computer Windows 10 [IMG]Trojan Broke New Computer Windows 10 [IMG]Trojan Broke New Computer Windows 10 [IMG]Trojan Broke New Computer Windows 10 [IMG]

I have been stuck on trying to fix these but I can't boot into safe mode because "CRITICAL-PROCESS-DIED" appears, and now recovery doesn't work. If anyone could try and help me with this, you will be appreciated a lot. (if you have read all of this thank you SO much).

(I can't boot into safe mode, cmd, install Windows again, boot onto my login screen, etc).

I also forgot to purchase a good anti virus, so that is probably the reason why all of this happened.

(I believe the reason for these errors to occur is because I was downloading some sketchy files off the internet and turned off my anti virus, allowing Trojan32 to destroy my system).

    :)

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

New Trojan that Demands a Ransom

There is a new virus out there discovered by virus hunters known as "Cryzip". The Trojan encrypts your files and then demands a $300 ransom for the decryption password to get your files back. After encrypting the files, the virus leaves a nice step-by-step guide of how to go about paying the ransom off. It's supposedly spread through email Spam, and has successfully evaded anti-virus scanners.

    Update Broke Computer Need Help!

    Windows 10 Upgrade
According to this list, your PC isn't on Acer's approved list for Win 10. Could you check that?

This is an older PC which came with Win 7. Have you ever clean installed Win 10 on it?

    • AMD Athlon II X2 255 Dual Core Processor
    • Windows 7 Professional
    • 2GB DDR3 RAM
    • 320GB HDD
    • DVD Rewriter
    • Integrated Graphics
    • PS.VB1E3.082

We can only proceed step by step.

So chkdsk and SFC /Scannow are ok. But any attempt to reset your PC or run DISM fails.

Is this what you tried? I'm not 100% clear what the above means. Clean install or this procedure?

If you tried this, it's possible it failed as you need (it seems) some 500Mb of unallocated space on your hard disk.
