    Trojan Win32 Dorv.D!rfn


    This has been driving me nuts for the past month or so. Windows defender is constantly scanning for this particular trojan that it claims is affecting the uefifirmware: \UefiImage->NBPEI. I believe it started late July/early August. I have an old motherboard/cpu setup (MSI P67a-C45/i5-2500k) and I've read that this is a false positive report on several forums. Windows defender recently updated their security adding scans for UEFI's and I believe as soon as this update dropped Defender started flagging this particular Trojan on my PC. I haven't notice anything out of the ordinary with the PC, have not downloaded or gone to any sketchy websites within that period of time. I installed Malwarebytes and several other anti malware softwares and not one was able to detect it. Tried in safe mode, with roots kit search enabled etc. Ended up reinstalling Windows on my main SSD and Windows Defender flags the same trojan. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

    Virus: Trojan win32/Tiggre!rfn

    Hi,

    I get repeating messages regarding Virus: Trojan win32/Tiggre!rfn

    Have already run Microsoft Safety Scanner and Full scan with Windows Defender but no virus was found

    How can I get rid of it ?
