    TrojanDownloader:BAT/Esendi.J Help with complete removal


    Hi, my pc keeps picking this one up TrojanDownloader:BAT/Esendi.J. I'm running windows 10 fully updated with latest software, drivers etc. Even when I run a complete windows defender antivirus scan, the system doesn't pick it up anywhere. It gets quarantined etc and then removed only for it to pop up again. Any help would be gratefully appreciated...but in simple terms. Many thanks in advance for your knowledge.

    Don't have a bat file but step 4 in Option 2 will give you complete list and you can mod yours.

    I have this .bat file that I've been messing around with:


    TrojanDownloader:BAT/Esendi.J Help with complete removal [​IMG]


    I got it to open the Windows Update interface:

    However, I need the .bat file to go a step further and auto click the Check for updates button circled in orange.

    Can someone help me to finish editing the .bat file so that when I click the .bat file, the process of manually checking for Windows Updates becomes fully automated?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
