  1. Trouble activating Windows 10, after going from VM to Physical SSD

For some time I have kept a registered copy of Windows 10 under VMWare Player in Linux, for a handful of Windows programs I needed, such as Daz Studio, and recently decided I didn't want to deal with the hassle of slowdowns and crashes and unstable behavior associated with running it in the virtual machine. To put it bluntly, the performance with Daz Studio in particular was pretty awful, and it could often freeze my system altogether. So I bought a 1TB SSD to put Windows on, and originally I tried to transfer the VM image itself onto the SSD, but after struggling with this with various too

  2. Re-Activating Windows 10 On a VM On a New SSD

I recently replaced the SSD on my MackBook pro. I re-installed Windows 10 on my VM but I am unable to re-activate Windows on it. Before I replaced my SSD I deactivated the license so I could transfer it to my new VM. When I run the troubleshooter to try
and find the device linked to my Microsoft Account it cannot find it yet when I log into my account through a web browser I can see the device listed. Anyone have any tips to reactive my Windows 10 device running on a VM?

    Windows 10 VM activation

    Hi,

I am trying to setup two Windows 10 vms for test purposes on Ovirt virtualization cluster. (Windows 10 Pro with MAK key from visual studio (MSDN) subscription).

Activation of the first vm encountered no problem, but activation of the second one failed. I have tried to setup second vm by all available means (by cloning from the first one with or without sysprep, from activated state or from clean installed snapshot,
by installing second vm from scratch, etc.). All are with the same results: The last product key you entered XXXXX can't be used on this copy of Windows (0xC0EA0003).

Is it possible to have several Win 10 vms on the same hypervisor, activated with MAK key?

    Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

    Windows 10 Activation (Insider)

How long did you wait for activation?
When I re-installed with a fresh install... it took a few hours to sync and activate.
    However, it did, finally, activate.
