Windows 10: Trouble activating Windows.

I recently built a new PC. My old PC was a pre-built that came with Windows 10 Home, though I was able to connect the license to my Microsoft account. I upgraded everything in that PC including mobo at one point in its lifetime and was able to continue using Windows just fine.Now with this new PC, when I try to select "I changed hardware on this device recently" through the troubleshooter, my new PC is showing up under the list of "We can’t reactivate Windows from these devices."I also tried putting the product key from the Windows that came with my old PC and of course it says that the prod

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

first ones not bad. floppies are dead, thats a good step up.

activation? i've never had issues with that.
