Windows 10: Trouble after motherboard installation

Hello all i recently decided to upgrade my motherboard, CPU and ram to newer components.

i have a:


i5 10600k

16 GB ballistix ram

asus tuf z490 plus


for some reason after going to bios i set csm to legacy since on my initial save/exit it rebooted and i lost signal to my TV. Well the csm/legacy options didn’t seem to fix the issue and now im pulling my hair out as to what the issue could be. It seems to continuallt reboot as well but i cant seem to get past the bios settings and make it read windows.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Choice of memory and motherboard... a bit stuck...

No one who got some suggestions on this one, huh?

I've found out that the Asus M3A78-T needs to be flashed, so then that motherboard is excluded from my list. Which motherboard and memory should I then go for? Any suggestions?
